CODEFUND has been established through collective inputs & actions of 101 conservationists and development devotees in special occasion of the world environment day 2011, and is affiliated with social welfare council, Nepal. It is committed for overall conservation development but focuses on wetlands while demonstrating, and now making efforts for the establishment of wetlands academy, a permanent structure to build capacities of many tiers of audience in negotiating wetlands issues by consolidating wetlands governance in Nepal. For this reason, CODEFUND has been in coherence coordination the Ramsar secretariat and international lake environment committee foundation/japan.
