[EN] The Ministry of the Environment is an agency of the Government of Mexico City.It is the authority in charge of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development,through 7 guiding principles that make up the Environmental and Climate Change Programme.These guiding principles are:the revegetation of the countryside and the city;the rescuing of water bodies;the sustainable management of water; zero waste;sustainable integrated mobility;air quality;and the solar city.These principles guide comprehensive actions that allow for the conservation and sustainable use of the city’s natural capital,contributing to the well-being of individuals and the right to a healthy environment.
