Surfrider Foundation Europe

Surfrider Foundation Europe (SFE) has been active for over 30 years in the field of environmental protection, more specifically, the protection of oceans, coastlines and their users. SFE aims for sustainable development and a harmonious relationship between Man and Nature. The staff implementing the strategy is distributed in 6 European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Portugal. The association was founded by the surfing community in response to the environmental problems affecting their environment. The surfrider community brings together tens of thousands of members, including 2000 volunteers within 50 Local groups in 12 European countries.
