Wildlife Conservation Action

Wildlife Conservation Action (WCA) empowers local communities to mitigate human-wildlife conflict in Zimbabwe. Founded in 2019, WCA addresses the alarming increase in clashes between humans and wildlife in communal areas adjacent to National Parks. Through research, awareness, and community-led solutions, WCA fosters harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife. We blend indigenous knowledge with scientific expertise to develop effective, non-lethal, and cost-effective mitigation strategies. WCA also nurtures future conservation leaders through internships and environmental programs for school children.
