Zoo Knoxville

Zoo Knoxville, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, is a mission-driven, conservation-focused organization dedicated to saving wildlife, protecting habitats, and inspiring action both locally and globally. The Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, both of which are IUCN members. The zoo emphasizes conservation throughout the Appalachian Mountains while inspiring action to save wildlife and wild places worldwide. The Zoo is led by the founder of IUCN SSC’s Global Center for Species Survival and focuses on reptile and amphibian conservation, American red wolves, and leads U.S. efforts in red panda conservation.
