New webinar Series: Transboundary Water Governance for Water Security

Water security is critical for ecosystem, human and animal health, especially for regions where water is scarce and of poor quality. In an increasingly connected planet, collaboration between countries is the key to ensure a future for all species on Earth. Transboundary water systems are an ideal catalyst to create this collaboration and begin multi-country governance systems that look at water resources in their natural borderless context.

The new webinar series 'Transboundary Water Governance for Water Security' taps the knowledge and expertise of IUCN and the Sustainable Water Partnership (SWP) to provide in-depth understanding on transboundary water governance and diplomacy, discuss case studies from various regions, and draw lessons learned for Southern Africa.

These seminars will take place every Wednesday from August 19 to September 30, 2020, starting at 9 a.m. EDT/3 p.m. SAST.
