Since 1992 Pangea Institute has carried out thousands of hours of education and training involving 70 Italian Protected Areas and about 70,000 people. The Institute also runs “Labnet Lazio”, the only Italian Environmental Education Centre entirely focused on Protected Areas issues (which is part of the National network of Environmental Education Centres), and has been officially recognised by the Ministry of Public Education for the training of school teachers.
