Society for Ecological Restoration

SER is an international non-governmental organization with members in more than 70 countries and 14 regional chapters worldwide. SER’s global network represents the foremost source of scientific and practical expertise on the repair of degraded ecosystems. SER members include natural and social scientists, environmental engineers, urban and regional planners, program managers, policy makers, landscape architects, and community advocates. Through this collective expertise, SER works to advance the field of ecological restoration by disseminating guidance and best practices; facilitating knowledge sharing among practitioners, researchers, and decision makers; increasing awareness of, and public support for, restoration; and contributing to policy discussions at the national and international level.
