Operation Big Blue Association

Operation Big Blue Association is a Lebanese environmental, non-governmental organization that seeks to protect, analyse, and monitor the coastal and marine environment against misuse or degradation and actively work on resolving environmental issues. Since its inception in 1997, OBBA has developed a series of various programs to confront environmental challenges. It includes simple programs such as beach cleaning, delegate programs such as dolphins and seals monitoring, sea turtle well-being/fertilization monitoring, large-scale, mind-set programs such as ecological and environmental awareness campaigns, and sophisticated, self-sustaining programs such as public beach management. Our achievements have been realized by a group of enthusiasts, activists, volunteers, contributors, and sponsors in collaboration with the Lebanese National Army and various Ministries and Embassies in Lebanon; local, regional and international NGOs; national diving centers and scouts; schools and universities in addition to corporations and media.
