Mindoro Biodiversity Conservation Foundation, Inc.

The Mindoro Biodiversity Conservation Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission on 19 March 2008. Its main purpose is to support and strengthen biodiversity conservation efforts throughout Mindoro Island. Our organization conducts biological research on species and ecosystems and socio-economic research on natural resource dependent communities to provide science-based recommendations to policy makers, managers and local executives. MBCFI promotes greater awareness and concern for Mindoro’s environment through improved information campaigns, capacity building, empowering communities and enjoining them in the formulation and implementation of responsive policies for effective resource management and conservation.
