Horizon for a Green Environment

Horizon is a not for profit company registered in 2014 according to the Jordanian laws, and aims to enhance and strenthen the green developmnent in Jordan.The organization has succeded to implement several inititaives and projects in several fields including the renewable energy and energy effecincy where capacity building programs were implemneted at household, individuals and govermental levels. In addition, it has developed the infrastructure and raised the knowledge and awareness toward the importance of alternative energy resources in sustainability and human wellbeing. Despite a new organization, but it has succeeded to implement regional projects between Jordan, Lebanon and Tunesia in partnership with strong organizations such as the IUCN and National Center for Renewable Energy under a project called “MINARET”
