Green Hunan

Green Hunan is a social organization working on local environmental protection of Hunan formed by a group of indigenous people who love their hometown in 2007. This organization officially registered in the department of civil affirs in 2011. The mission of Green HUnan is to protect the ecological environment in Hunan province and to promote the life style of sustainable development. The major programs in the organization now are "River Watchers" actions network, popularization of laws and policies relating to environmental protection, "Green Walkers" and other public benefit activities. Green Hunan was honored the titile of "CCTV Annual People of Legal Construction" confered by national agency of popularization of laws, the department of justice, and CCTV.
