Friendship is a non-governmental organisation that aims to help poor people in remote and unaddressed communities in Bangladesh.Friendship is a needs-driven non-governmental organisation that works in the Char islands and riverbanks of northern Bangladesh, the coastal belt in the south, and as of 2017, the Rohingya refugee camps in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar in the southeast. Established by Runa Khan in 2002, Friendship works to empower people through a sustainable, integrated development approach Main working areas of Friendship are: 1. Health Care, 2. Climate Change adaptation and Disaster Management, 3. Education, 4. Sustainable Economical Development, 5. Inclusive Citizenship , 6. Cultural Preservation Under the programe of Climate Change and Development Friendship is targating to improve the mangrove ecosystem of coastal area by Mangrove aforestation.
