We are here Venice was established in 2015 to address Venice’s challenges as a living city and advocate for evidence-based approaches to policy making. The core group of trans-disciplinary researchers and activists is connected with a large network of local and international universities, businesses, cultural institutions and public authorities. Our characteristically practical approach is based on rigorous research to bring about real changes according to social, economic, physical and ecological indicators that align with the UN Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Initiatives range from self-contained projects to awareness campaigns and scientific research.
