Our Regions

We are a network of +1600 members from around the globe who lead and support initiatives in our regions on a local, national and global scale. We encourage diversity in terms of experience, disciplines, cultures, languages, ages and gender. Each region has a chair and co-chair who you can contact for further information and support on conservation initiatives in the different regions.

IUCN CEM is composed of 13 regions across the world, under the leadership of Regional Vice Chairs that, along with members, develop region-specific conservation plans. Regions also collaborate closely with thematic and specialist groups and task forces to implement specific projects on a local/national and regional level.
