The IUCN WCEL Climate Change Law Specialist Group (CCLSG) is a global network of legal practitioners and scholars in the field of “climate change law”. The CCLSG is the principal source of legal technical advice to the IUCN, its members, and the WCEL on the legal aspects of addressing climate change and its adverse impacts internationally and nationally.
With 400+ members, the CCLSG brings together experts from all continents and different legal cultures and backgrounds.
The CCLSG interacts, collaborates, and coordinates with other IUCN Commissions, WCEL Specialist Groups and the IUCN Secretariat with respect to legal issues relevant to climate change.

In addition to these projects, the CCLSG has created and manages a LinkedIn-based “Climate Law Network”, which operates as a forum for climate law professionals to network, exchange information and publish opinion pieces such as blogs and articles.
