SSC-Oryx Publication opportunity

November issue: deadline to submit your manuscript by 10 August 2023.

The SSC Chair’s Office is delighted to announce the partnership with Oryx—The International Journal of Conservation that entails publishing 11 open access research or review articles authored by SSC members and linked to the work of the SSC group.
The SSC-Oryx Partnership Fund supports the communication objectives of increasing the visibility of the conservation work of the network, and empowering and motivating the membership to disseminate their efforts on the Species Conservation Cycle (Assess-Plan-Act).

This grant opportunity will be open for all our Specialist Groups, Stand-Alone Red List Authorities, Task Forces and Conservation Committees. Any SSC group interested in applying should meet the following requirements:

  1. The first author or the corresponding author of the manuscript must be an SSC member and their SSC affiliation must be included among their addresses (e.g. IUCN Species Survival Commission, Rue Mauverney 28 1196 Gland, Switzerland)
  2. The work reported in the article must be part of the work of the SSC group that they engage with;
  3. The selection and publication of the articles will follow Oryx’s regular submission process.
