Regen10 is a global multi-stakeholder initiative working to support an inclusive, regenerative and equitable food systems transition.

Regen10

Since 2022, IUCN has been a founding partner of Regen10, a global multi-stakeholder initiative bringing together farmers’ organisations, civil society, businesses, and global platforms to support an inclusive, regenerative and equitable food systems transition.

Within Regen10, IUCN contributes science-based expertise on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem integrity, supports the integration of Indigenous Peoples and local communities’ knowledge and governance systems, and advances policy and engagement to promote credible, inclusive, and equitable regenerative transitions.

Regen10’s Outcomes Framework

Supported by IUCN as part of its mission to advance nature-positive approaches, Regen10 has developed the Outcomes Framework for regenerative agriculture through consultation with farmers, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, businesses, civil society, and policymakers.

The Framework provides a shared reference for what regenerative agriculture can and should deliver across farms and the landscapes that sustain them. It defines ecological, social, economic, and governance outcomes, including biodiversity, soil health, water, climate resilience, and livelihoods.

Focusing on outcomes rather than practices, the Framework recognises that pathways to regeneration are context-specific. It enables actors to align around a shared direction while applying approaches suited to local conditions and realities on the ground.

Developed over more than two years through extensive consultation across regions, the Framework reflects diverse perspectives and supports greater coherence across initiatives by helping actors understand how their efforts contribute to broader outcomes over time.

It is designed for farmers and land stewards, landscape partnerships, companies, investors, and policymakers to align strategies, guide action, and strengthen accountability toward regenerative outcomes.

Regen10 also supports landscape-level partnerships and transition pathways, helping connect farm-level action with the wider enabling conditions needed to deliver regenerative outcomes at scale.
